August Station Highlights

Here's what's happened recently with American Graduate in St. Louis.

  • Amy Shaw, Senior Vice President of Community Engagement, recently spoke to middle- and high-school girls at the St. Louis Science Center’s DigiGirlz camp about engaging in the pursuit of STEM careers and striving to reach their true potential.
  • Nine Network celebrated our summer 2015 American Graduate interns in late July with a culminating event to showcase the content they produced over the summer. Nine was fortunate to work with four students (Dakarai Armstead, David Harris, Barry Shumpert, and Michael Stayton) from Cardinal Ritter College Prep (CRCP) this summer and thankful that three former interns (Gabby Hays, Diamond Martin, and Tyler Murphy) returned from college to serve in a leadership capacity and guide the CRCP students’ work.
  • Nine Network received a grant from the Deaconess Foundation for our child advocacy work during a “Children at the Center” event in late June. The grant will provide support for Nine’s American Graduate work to ensure the long-term wellbeing of children.
