Partner Spotlight: Parents as Teachers

Last Updated by Lindsey Forsythe on

Parents as Teachers is a national organization (based in St. Louis) that supports early childhood development by ensuring that parents have the information, support, and encouragement they need to help their children thrive.

Through Parents as Teachers, Parent Educators work with parents and children in their own homes to offer activities and interactions that support children’s learning and prepares them for success in school. “Education starts at home,” says Parent Participant Manyika McCoy, so it is critical for parents to be engaged and involved in their children’s development from a very early age.
