As part of our national work on American Graduate, Nine Network of Public Media and 50 other public media organizations are working to amplify teacher voices in their local communities through an online Teacher Wall. We interviewed five St. Louis Public School teachers over the course of the summer and shared their interviews on the national Teacher Wall at http://www.teacherwall.org.

Our Production Intern Amanda Honigfort asked the teachers a variety of questions, including what are the top indicators that signal a student is at risk of dropping out and what resources or assistance do educators need from the community in order to help students graduate, on time, ready for college and careers.

We invite you to celebrate our local educators on a national platform and tell us what you think. Tweet your comments @theninenetwork and/or post a response on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/TheNineNetwork. We look forward to reading your comments.

American Graduate is a public media initiative funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to help local communities across America find solutions to address the dropout crisis.
