The Graduation Reality

The national high school graduation rate is increasing at an accelerated pace. For the first time, the nation on track to reach the 90 percent graduation rate by the Class of 2020.

However, even with these gains, America still loses about 1 out of 5 young people to the dropout crisis annually.


WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT TO OUR COMMUNITY?

Missouri is one of the 18 states on pace to reach a 90 percent graduation rate by 2020. Two states have currently achieved this goal.
